  • - What do you think about this? see, and tell us now.
  • - @SPANKY5ful One more recommendation: if you're looking at snub nosed revolvers, I would recommend the Ruger SP101. It's built tough and the extra weight would help tame hotter .357 loads. Some do not like the trigger, but I would at least try it. I believe it would fit the bill for what you're looking for. Just remember to practice.
  • - I have a Taurus 617. I have no problems with .357 loads in it and I shoot very accurately. A friend of mine tried it because he was considering buying one and thought the .357 was too much for him to handle. It will make the web of your palm sore after a few rounds, so I'm guessing the 340 or 360 would make you REALLY sore!
  • - Nice! I'm gonna get a 340pd for cc or else id rather have the exposed hammer for single action shooting
  • - @SPANKY5ful I'd say go with what you feel comfortable with. Go to a store that has one, handle it, get a feel for it. Try everything in the store in that category. You may find you like something else in person. Try to go to a shop that has a range and you can try before you buy. That's the best way to go.
  • - @SPANKY5ful This is a fantastic gun. I don't own one, but I've handled them. I am going to buy the 340PD without the exposed hammer for concealed carry. Smith does make the same gun in stainless. It's a little cheaper still and doesn't require extra care in cleaning the cylinder. I have heard that the titanium cylinders need special attention when cleaning, stainless doesn't. It's up to you though.
  • - Good no-nonsense video. Thanks. I am interested in getting a lightweight .357/.38. I will feed it .38+p but still want to know how it behaves with .357 magnums.
  • - i want that how much did u pay
  • - @leeradio13 No, It's just what they named it....for whatever reason. I've got one & love it
  • - pacmyar decelerator grips takes the pain out of the 357 mag.
  • - thanks for the video kevin spacey
  • - cool video..
  • - For such a lightweight gun, I was expecting a lot more muzzle flip with both cartridges. And a lot more muzzle flash.
  • - PD= "personal defense" ;) What were you thinking, police department?...lol $800, and one can be yours!
  • - @SPANKY5ful If you are not planning on practicing a lot, I would not recommend something with such a short barrel. Because of the short sight radius (the distance from the rear sight to the front sight), these revolvers can be hard to shoot accurately, ESPECIALLY while under stress, such as situations you dictated (home defense, trail protection, etc.). However, snub nosed revolvers (in my opinion) shine in the role of "truck gun," as their compact size helps them fit in your glove box perfectly
