  • - What do you think about this? see, and tell us now.
  • - i love all the comments on this video is great fun watching you all fight out why the term "Terminal Velocity " should and shouldn't be in the title.
  • - how are you determining that was its terminal velocity?
  • - THISVIDEOISWASTEOFINTERNETSPACE
  • - why does it stop turning when it gets fast and then goes fast again??
  • - I was even warned about the jump and it still got me.
  • - Very awesome demonstration of the acceleration force required to overcome the magnetic attraction and see the beads fly apart. And to see the weakness (relative and in absolute terms) of gravity, which couldn't even overcome the magnetic force of that single connection pivot point.
  • - You were game to have your hand in there.
  • - this video is the greatest i ever seen in my life, i deeply hate every single millisecond of it
  • - well i barely passed science class, but isnt terminal velocity the fastest an object can move without any interference, using only its weight and structure being influenced the earths gravity and stuff
  • - I'm disappointed. Show us how you break a puck-sized solid Nd magnet by centrifugal force. You already have the compressed air.
  • - dat was awesom XD
  • - Centrifugal force exceeded the magnetic force?
  • - It's not science. IT'S MAGIC!!! lol
  • - I think scientifically, this is called kablammy velocity.
  • - so cool the outward force from the circular motion was enough to pull the layers of magnets apart. once one layer went, it became unbalanced changed its axis of rotation suddenly and flung the rest of the magnets.
  • - If you look closely, you can see the portal to Narnia slowly forming...
  • - COFFEE...ALL OVER MY DESK Q_Q That scared me.. My shirt is soaked too..
  • - Did you use compressed air or more magnets to propel the magnets?
  • - I wasn't expecting that so It made me jump lol
  • - g was higher than G ;-]
  • - This video shows centrifugal force overpowering magnetic force. Pretty cool.
  • - watching people do smart stuff is cool
  • - scared the living shit out of me :(
  • - Personally I think it's quite simple, also terminal velocity is incorrect as terminal velocity is basically the max speed an object of a certain mass can fall based off gravity. It's really simple the centrifugal force(doesn't truly exist, it's just momentum) gets to a point that exerts more force than the magnets do against on another. Literally just pulling them apart. Nothing amazing really. It's just like pulling them apart with your hands except using newton's 2nd law of motion to do it instead.
  • - I will be the 1000th person to comment on this video.
  • - Gosh I love the arguments here. Terminal velocity is when velocity stops. It is usually indicated by a speed. Here it could be in rotations per minute, but either way, velocity stopped because the thing flew apart. It is strange how all these people go to school, and still don't get it.
  • - isnt terminal velocity a speed at which things fall, not spinning?
  • - nice video,,,
  • - OK - that was cool. Probably not terminal velocity but still cool.
  • - Kind of danger man lol
  • - hey the slomo is a different video look at the straw
  • - And the point is.....?
  • - I think i just pooed a little when that broke.
  • - terminal velocity has to do with air resistance while falling
  • - Ends of comments.
