- Great info. I was looking at selling my Sig 1911 for an E series.... I was hoping the high end looks of the S&W translated to high end range performance. Looks like I will be keeping my Sig. Thanks for the vid...very helpful!
- 25 yards** not years! Haha
- A couple of things....1. Those "grips" are called serrations that are on the front and rear of the slide. 2. The reason why your grouping is not 100% on target is because the s&w has a lighter frame so it obviously has more felt recoil. 3. As stated above, the sig has a steel frame and slide so it's heavier meaning it has a little bit less recoil even though it's an officers size and not a commander size like the s&w so of course the sig will feel better and be more "accurate" 4. Start shooting the e series more than your sig so you can get used to it and you'll get better and better. 5. Since it is lighter, make sure you have a nice and tight grip on the firearm so you don't lose control of the firearm and you can take more steady and accurate shots Good luck. My E series shoots as good as my Ed brown cobra carry and my Wiley clapp colt 1911. And on all 3 I have 2-2 1/2 at 25 years and I'm just a nobody
