Super-strong neodymium magnets smashing and exploding

Discussion

  • - What do you think about this? see, and tell us now.
  • - Just wondering what would happen to say a small Neodymium disc magnet if it were subjected to very high temperature? In a gas forge for example? Would it melt completely? If not would it's magnetic qualities be affected?
  • - what would happen if you froze them with LN2 beforehand?
  • - what do you think would be the strongest diamagnetic for levitation purposes?
  • - Hi there would these eventually de-magnitize with bieng constantly in-use on a push pull set up? I'm guessing what i have in mind would generate a field and also heat, so are the magnets you sell, or this particular one ever be affected by that sort of thing?
  • - Why are only one side of the magnets exploded and not the other one ?
  • - I suggest you do a video about how these magnets are manufactured. How is the material refined, how is it compressed together (assuming it's not just mined in big chunks like that). It must be a tricky process, working with magnetic material. Or is it magnetized after it's made? How is the chrome coating applied? And where is it done? Is it all done in China like everything else? (I hope not.) Curious minds want to know.
  • - What´s the cost of an eletromagnet with the same force of these shown in the video?
  • - do you still have the smashed ruins of this? if so send them my way!
  • - So what's the energy dissipated in the collision?
  • - lol what a sissy, look how scared he was
  • - no more magnets - no more videos :D
  • - He didn't sound to happy about the money loss xD
  • - how do you "un-stick" them?
  • - make one of those magnet guns. u get 6 (or more) and put them horizontally together at the resting points( or abit more if struggles too much) inside a tube and then push the one at the start and then the start goes within the range of 2nd magnet propelling it faster and faster till it shoots out (was gonna say cum- I mean come out) and shoot at a line of something hard (was gonna say watermelons but we all know that's a lie)
  • - Why do you 'have' to be 18 or over to watch this?
  • - what a waste, u waste a lot of energy
  • - "Don't try this at home"... I Doubt the idiot who'd try this at home owns super strong magnets... 😂
  • - Love hurts.... but they just wanted to be together!
  • - There goes several hundred dollars or more.
  • - Question ? If two of this magnets are joined what does it takes to separate them can you do a vid on how to separate them ?
  • - get a high speed cam
  • - i was expecting more
  • - Can you, if any more of these magnets are available, show a video of three, two fixed and one being repelled continuously between them?
  • - How much does one of these magnets cost?
  • - Super enjoyed your video thank you so much. Great information for my project!!!
  • - Everyone meet the new 'will it blend' man!
  • - there goes at least $500
  • - You may have seen our recent videos that are part of our ‘super-strong neodymium magnets’ series. We’ve been overwhelmed by the comments and interest in them and many people have been asking to see what would happen if the awesome #magnets in the videos were allowed to smash together. So, we recorded this short #video!Put on your safety goggles, take a deep breath and see for yourself!
  • - Keep those away from my 8-Track collection!
  • - magnificent
  • - Can you show that without the slow-mo? The slow-mo dramatically reduces the effects.
  • - YEAH SCIENCE!
  • - Is it just me thinking you can make a very strong weapon (caring this around in your backpack might be a really good defense when you're in trouble ehh?) with these magnets or maybe kind of a machine that levitates a person or a car with one magnet on the bottom of it and one on the floor. can they ?
  • - Neat demonstration, as powerful as they contacted it was not quite as destructive as I thought it would have been. In terms of how badly the magnets were damaged that is.
  • - Ends of comments.
