  • - What do you think about this? see, and tell us now.
  • - In addition to Metallium, you can also buy iridium from rareworldmetals on Ebay or Preciousmetalpurchase online to get closest to spot price.
  • - i have copper iridium petrol max(made in Germany) water pulling type if u have interest to contact me sobinbabu202@gmail.com
  • - yeah Man that piece of Iridium was a sweet addition to the collection you own , awesome gift dude,I had to jump in ocean to retrieve My little nugget. I'm in Newfoundland canada thank goodness it was summer but the Atlantic ocean is not that hot I did not have a diving suit lol & I don't have much body fat sadly so that sucks for swimming in super cold water haha safe to say I was Pumped to find out it was Pure Iridium!! thing weighs like 3.5 .3.7 half quarter stone =D hehe..
  • - but, will it blend?
  • - elementsales.com made me a one of a kind custom alloy "lump" per my specs.90% tungsten, and the other 10% is rhenium, osmium, iridium, hafnium, platinum, silver, tantalum, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, and gold. It's really heavy metal, man!
  • - That is indeed a nice item to own - thanks for sharing it. I remember when studying chemistry at school I really wanted to feel how heavy something made from osmium would be - but it's not possible to find that metal, or to handle it safely (iridium ingots are quite rare too). But iridium has almost the same density as osmium, and safer, so is much more interesting in that respect. So does your 5g ingot 'feel' heavy compared to other metal ingots of the same physical size ? I'd love to have a collection of apple sized spheres of metals and compare the weight of, say, Lithium to Iridium - one would weigh less than an apple, and the other would hurt my arm trying to pick it up !! Oh, and good luck if you ever try to melt your ingot - have you got a furnace that goes over 2500°C ?!
  • - I regard one's personality as important, and it is important to enjoy the life. It is the materials which are good that a characteristic is big.A mineral and the metallic element have each characteristic, too. It is good materials in the expression of things.
  • - usually you don't see 99.9% purity of any metal in a button form. not saying this is the case. iridium has to be smelted at 5000 degrees and has to be poured in a pour mold to be an ingot. buttons are never tested for purity unless it is tested with an XRF machine. Always take extra precaution, and always make sure you buy from a reputable dealer, and ask for the certified assay report. Call the assayers office to verify. If you need any more info or help let me know. Be happy to help you
  • - I doubt that iridium is fit for human consumption.
  • - what your holding there is not an ingot , it is called a button
  • - Iridium is my favorite metal and element on the Periodic Table. I would like to have a troy ounce of iridium when I have the money to buy one.
  • - Nice to meet you. I like Iridium, too.The collection of you is a beautiful Iridium Metal ingot! I have a ring made of Iridium.
  • - I love iridium, whenever I get married I would love to have an iridium wedding band.
  • - well now, then you'd be please to know that is fit for consumption I have some nano .999 ppm parts pre million
  • - Can you eat it?
  • - I got it as a Christmas gift from Metallium, Inc's website. According on their website, the iridium is 99.9% pure with a "Certificate of Analysis available upon request." My mother ordered it without requesting a certificate. I know its real iridium because it feels very dense, even for 5 grams.
  • - It is a 5 gram pellet of 99.9% pure iridium metal, but I didn't know that it was actually called a button instead of an ingot.
  • - Iridium has a personal meaning because I have Asperger's Syndrome (type of autism spectrum disorder), and I use the traits of the metal to describe my traits.
  • - An iridium ring? That's very cool. Iridium is my favorite element. I also use iridium as a metaphor for my interests, characteristics, and traits. I mainly collect minerals and gemstones.
  • - Thank you for a reply. I like the mineral, too. Preference is similar, and there is a sense of closeness. Iridium is metal very rare beautifully.
