- the thing i don't get is that i have a tippmann custom 98 pro platinum edition and this one says 98 custom pro on the marker and on mine it says custom pro on it. any body know why is it the old moddel?
- The 98 is a fantastic marker. What holds it back is the slow feed rate of the standard hopper system. So to everyone who gets one: GET AN ELECTRONIC HOPPER! Even a $40 one. My favorite set up is a custom pro with electronic double trigger, dye ultralight barrel, with extreme rage hopper. 40, 000 rounds without a break! I love it! Its the best entry priced marker out there and can be upgraded if you want more. I own 4 of them. No complaints.

- Not in my experience. It is more about looks. If you want better accuracy using a quality paint and having a good barrel to paint match makes the most difference.

- This is a good beginner marker. Very reliable and durable. You could also look into the Spyder Fenix.
