- To those wondering where to find copper like this, any metal supply warehouse carries solid copper bar, which then appears to have been drilled through and faced on a lathe.Source- I'm a machinist and work with copper fairly often
- Zounds! It's like the copper pipe is taking a magnetic dump!
- Why is the copper tube moved by the magnet?
- The copper pipe is not 100% pure and may contains iron particles.. Since neo magnets are too strong.. The iron particles and magnet attraction resists the falling velocity of magnet and turn it slow.. Just a logic tho..
- idea- sort particles into degrees of magnetism based on fall rate in long copper tube
- Where can I get such a copper pipe?
- The North and South Pole of that magnet always have electromagnetic flux and it creates certain current along the copper tube as the magnet passes through it. the magnet moves slowly naturally since the current created in the copper tube is shorted.
- A very professional looking ruler indeed
- What if u shake it up and down i mean the copper when the magnet is falling? I mean try to push it a bit back up(the magnet) using this magnet power.
- Dat ruler doe
- Array
- anyone know where I can buy copper pipe like that?
- Does the weight Increase or Decrease or No change with the magnet through the copper tube?
- thum up
- Made in USSR
- same principal as a rail gun minus the electricity that would normally push the object through faster
- Whenever I watch igor my mind continues to be blown👍
- no it wont :O
- Thx
- 很惊奇
- Hey why are not they using this to make the elevators safer. With no power or breaks what so ever the elevator will just fall slowly and safe to earth.
