- Some people think silver is good for their health, but it is NOT. There was a woman whose skin turned permanently gray because she took colloidal silver on the advice of some quack homeopathic "doctor." The silver particles deposited in her skin, giving it a grayish tinge that will never go away. Colloidal silver is just another scam.
